What is backed up, and how often
Schedules, retention and where the copies are kept.
Every site is backed up automatically. Backups are stored off-site, in a different region from the server, and encrypted at rest.

What a backup contains
- The full document root: WordPress core, themes, plugins and uploads.
- The complete database.
- Site configuration: PHP settings, domains, redirects and cache rules.
Email is not included. Mailboxes live with the mail provider and have their own retention.
Higher frequency
Busy stores can be moved to hourly database backups. Ask support; it is a per-site setting, not a plan upgrade.
