Change your plan

Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at renewal.

Plans can change at any time. What differs is when the change takes effect.

Upgrading

Immediate. Resources are applied within a minute and there is no downtime. You are charged the difference for the remainder of the current period, prorated to the day.

Downgrading

Applied at the next renewal, so you keep what you paid for. Before it takes effect, check that current usage fits inside the smaller plan: disk, mailboxes, and the number of sites.

Temporary upgrades

For a sale or a campaign, raise the plan for the period and lower it again afterwards. Ask support to schedule both changes so neither is forgotten.
