Cancel a service
What happens to your data, and the dates that matter.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. The service runs until the end of the period you already paid for.
Before you cancel
- Download a backup of every site you want to keep.
- Export mailboxes, or migrate them to the new provider first.
- Move the domain, or point its nameservers to wherever the site is going.
- Cancel the hosting last, once the new home is live.
The timeline

Domains are separate
Cancelling hosting does not cancel a domain registration, and cancelling a domain does not delete a site. Handle each one deliberately.
