Create your first site

Spin up a WordPress install, open it on its temporary address and get the admin credentials.

A new site is created from the dashboard and is ready to use before your domain is connected. You can build on the temporary address for as long as you need.

Create the site

1. Open Sites and choose Create site

   Pick the plan the site should run under. If your plan allows several sites, they share the plan resources.

2. Name the site and pick a region

   The name is internal. Choose the region closest to most of your visitors; it sets where the origin server runs.

3. Choose what to install

   A clean WordPress install, WordPress with WooCommerce, or an empty document root if you are deploying your own application.

4. Create the admin user

   Use a real address you can receive mail on. The password is shown once and stored in your password manager, not by us.

Open the site

Provisioning finishes in about a minute. The site card then shows a temporary address in the form site-name.wvcloud.site, with a link straight into /wp-admin.
